I had a very specific vision for linen pants I was looking to achieve. I knew I wanted 100% linen, side pockets but no back pockets, and a thin tie waist band. I wanted to be able to wear them mid-rise for a relaxed look or high waisted for a more cropped look. When I came across these after much searching I was thrilled - Reformation's Olina pants don't have pockets (which is insane for almost $200) and J. Crew's have back pockets and the inseam was much too short. Everything else was some kind of linen/synthetic blend or taller inseam. I'm 5'2" so every half inch of an inseam is crucial for me. I have to have almost everything hemmed, but I was so happy to see these with a 27" inseam. I bought the chocolate brown in XS. I'm ~115 lbs. for reference.
When I received them in the mail I could tell they were well made. The chocolate color is a lovely warm brown that I know will go with almost anything. I tried them on and they were flattering in the waist and backside - no grandma butt, yay! However, I was disappointed to discover they were too long on me. I knew 27" was going to be just straddling the line between ankle length and floor grazing, but when I got out my dress tape to measure I noted that the inseam was actually 28.5" or 29" depending on how taut I pulled the tape. I'm disappointed, but I'll be hemming these.
To be fair, these are great quality pant, hit the mark on everything else for me, and were competitively priced relative to other higher end pants from Rails, etc., but I do think an FYI is appropriate here for any shorter girlies.
